Taxiarhis

The beautiful, big and picturesque village of Taxiarhis was built on the foot of the green Telethrios, in a relatively small distance from the city of Orei. The modern scene of Taxiarhis, or Moursalis, as it was named before 1954, is the creation of refugees, who came her in 1925 onewardsToday Taxiarhis offers a cool evening shelter to tourists that wants to enjoy a cool dinner in one of the many quiet taverns in the village, escaping for a while froom the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Neos Pyrgos and Orei. Today Taxiarhis is also well-known about their figs, what they send all over the world.
One fantastic view we have from the chappel Agion Theodori. The chappel is on the top from a small hill near the village.
