Starting from Aedipsos one can visit the picturesque villages. Polylofos is a small unspoilt mountain village and nearby there is the old monastery of Saint George which has retained elements and traditions from the Byzantine period. The whole region is surrounded by gentle mountain slopes ideal for retreats and relaxation. The small fishing village of Ilia surroundet by orange groves offers beautiful beaches with ideal swimming conditions. Not far away in the old town of Aedipsos one can enjoy a traditional old Greek village.
